They’ve been talking about him quite a bit on CBD. If you were building an LT out of clay, he’s exactly what you’d build. He’s extremely raw so he’ll get beat occasionally because of bad technique. But he’ll be our starting LT sooner rather than later.

If I were the Browns I’d give him a full time babysitter.

I hope we’re all stoked about him because it was just announced that he is STARTING at LT this week.

Absolutely a bold move, throwing an undrafted rookie against Cameron Heyward week one. They must have some confidence in the kid, keeping Taylor upright is going to be a huge part of getting the upset victory this week. I’d expect a lot of two tight end sets in this game.

Well whether ether LT or RT are longterm answers, Pittsburgh will be a very good 1st data point.

Well see if that that double stuffed Oreo of an O line holds up or if that cookie crumbles.

I think we’ll see a huge amount of Fells on the left side helping out.

This kid better be a gold platter or Hue will be toast no way he can explain putting a rookie UDFA in the most important position on the line and if it costs us scoring points then it’s all laid at the head coaches feet.

If Hue has nothing better than he does have a reason. Obviously Austin wasn’t able to do a good enough job at LG & same for Bitonio at LT.
Injuries haven’t helped but as bad as we were last year, we couldn’t fix every hole we had but looking at the roster tells me we have improved. The weather Sunday is going to be horrible so that might slow down the pass rush too.

Uh sure he can, and there’s a good way to do it: There was no one else better to do it.

It’s not surprising the scrambling about that’s taken place in trying to replace a HOF’er in Joe Thomas, but it’s been a turnstyle there since OTA’s. No one stood out, no one stepped up, and no on took the job. Held auditions for months.

This kid got the job through one of two ways, default, or he was flat out better than everyone else. Either way, if there was no one else better to put there, then that’s exactly how you explain starting an UDFA rookie at the most important position on the line.
