Even though we lost, Ward should be up for rookie of the week again. Desean Jackson was averaging over 100 yards per game. This week he didn’t have a catch until late in the game despite multiple targets. Ward made him invisible. He is easily the favorite for DROYDefense as a whole – caused 4 turnovers and a safety. Soup is confused. Also Garrett was held constantly and their tackles were jumping offsides every other play, no call.
Colquitt – 9 punts averaging over 50 yards per punt. His punts constantly hit inside the 5 and bounce straight up.
Both RB’s – Dook was DOOOK and Chubb was really good.
Landry – Back to himself after a rough couple weeks. Catching everything and that touchdown was poetry. The laziest touchdown in NFL history. He literally rolled over and stretched out his arm like he was hitting his alarm clock.
Ratley – Another solid performance from a guy that shouldn’t need to play right now.
Baker’s skull – Took a wicked helmet-to-helmet hit and did not allow the brain inside to get injured.
Baker Mayfield, 4th quarter – Sucked in quarters 1,2,3, and OT but in Q4 he was the magical Mayfield we drafted.

soupParticipantRight, Williams is genius. Instead of blitzing on 3rd and 29 he played soft zone to let up a 14 yard pass and get the ball on the edge of their kickers long FG.
End of Q4 game on the line Tampa walked for 53 yards in 2:28 and missed a 40yd FG.
Number 30 in the NFL in total D. Number 18 in PPG allowed. That’s far from great
Blaming the refs is weak in this one. Njoku TD was due to his push off. Refs were fair in this except for the Mayfield hit in the head (Butfict got fined for it in Brown while he was a runner just last week). But it had zero effect on the outcome

the dudeParticipantOffense is just overall bad. The wide receiving core is just giving up and there is no timing. Baker should be hitting these guys in stride by now and he panics to throw the ball.
Hue Jackson is a loser.

1st down – Defense sacks the Bucs for a loss of 12
2nd and 22 – Defense sacks the Bucs for a loss of 7
3rd and 29 – defense allows a 14 yard pass on 3rd and 29 forcing the Bucs kicker (who has missed an easy FG and an XP) to try from 59 yards.
Soup loses his shit and blames the loss on the DC.
Meanwhile the offense had two 3 and outs in OT, Soup is silent.October 22, 2018 at 12:35 pm #13909

Or they blitz and that leaves TJ Carrie 1 on 1 vs Mike Evans and that’s a touchdown.

Or cause a turnover or incomplete pass. Not an uncontested underneath zone catch for 14 yards.

It’s not hindsight. It’s simple. Winston tore their soft zone a new asshole all game. When they flipped to man is when he had trouble. The biggest mistake people make is going away from their strength. Going away from what’s been working to be “safe.” There’s a reason the Rams went for it on 4th and short this year rather than punted. There’s a reason teams who are successful stick with what works. We always refuse to do that

ShooterModeratorMy gameball goes to Ed Hochuli’s kid. He’s taking right after his father in making ridiculous calls, my favorite of which being when he flat-out admitted that the there was a helmet to helmet hit on Baker Mayfield but that it was a legal hit, completely disregarding the fact that every helmet to helmet hit is illegal. It was a veteran-like Jedi mind trick for the first year referee, and it impressed the fuck outta me that he was able to completely screw us over without making it an issue by subtly acknowledging the truth and then ignoring it and quickly moving on. Savvy!

MDP Sack AttackParticipantI’ll give myself a goat for making an effort to watch that shitshow of a game while in London. Their “backers” situation is in the basement of a casino and it suuuuucks.
