On his int, Landry was lined up in the slot. Off the line completely uncovered in the middle of the field for a walk in TD. I’m so irritated that he threw that where he did when coverage was great off the line.

As a side note, on 3rd down before the missed FG, they wanted Duke on the slant from the slot. Duke couldn’t get off the line. All on Duke it it’s another easy TD

Landry was so open immediately it was unreal. Inexcusable to not see it. Also, side note I think someone else brought up, does Haley not let Mayfield audible? Early they didn’t bother disguising a run blitz that a Kosar would’ve audibled out of and exploited. I swear I never see him audible

Remember the Jets game? Even the Raiders game? Everything was so instinctual. And you can tell that sometimes he reverts to that and good shit tends to happen. But lately you can see him…thinking. Which means a lot more is ending up on his plate.

Let that boy run some RPO and let shit rip, and I bet you get a better result. Slide “this and that” into the playbook here and there, and build him into a better player. Make the game fun for him to go out and run.

I have no doubt he’s our guy. All this thinking is killing him, and in these parts, thinking has cost many a starting job.
