I just heard this on pregame. If this is true then Dorsey:
A. Wants to meet her because he’s a fan and it satisfies the Rooney rule.
B. He had a severe addiction problem.
C. He needs to be put in concussion protocol

I think there’s a disconnect, as on TV Schefter stated they have interest in her interviewing for the organization “in some capacity”. So maybe President or “stop arguing with each other, dumbasses” coaching intervention specialist. She’s been mentioned as a candidate for the next NFL commissioner.
After this report went public, the Browns responded by tweeting out a statement from general manager John Dorsey:
“Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is a great leader, possesses the highest possible character and also happens to be a Browns fan. I have the utmost respect and admiration for all she’s accomplished and was honored to meet her for the first time earlier this season. Our coaching search will be thorough and deliberate, but we are still in the process of composing the list of candidates and Secretary Rice has not been discussed.”
Sec. Rice also issued a response to the report on her official Facebook page:
“I love my Browns — and I know they will hire an experienced coach to take us to the next level.
On a more serious note, I do hope that the NFL will start to bring women into the coaching profession as position coaches and eventually coordinators and head coaches. One doesn’t have to play the game to understand it and motivate players. But experience counts — and it is time to develop a pool of experienced women coaches.
BTW — I’m not ready to coach but I would like to call a play or two next season if the Browns need ideas! And at no time will I call for a ‘prevent defense.'”

The whole committee concept is stupid. I also don’t pay attention enough to college for it. I watch college solely for upsets.
I wouldn’t let Roger Goodell bear my team either. And as a “committee” person, she’s completely unqualified. It’s like naming one of us on the committee.
If she were to become a head coach then I’m putting in my resume for OC because I have as much experience as she does

Why? Pure prgmatism. Because you never turn down talent, you find away to use it and maximise it’s effect.

Elton John is an incredible musician, that’s real talent. None that relates to football so I wouldn’t want him running any part of the organization
