Haynesworth ripped off a helmet and stomped a guys face and got 5 games only. This appeal will be interesting.

The fact that Ogunjobi was suspended for “escalating” the fight and Rudolph went unpunished for starting t he fight then escalating the fight by rushing at Garrett without his helmet is absurd.

This is video of Antonio Smith ripping off Richie Incognito’s helmet during a game and swinging it at his head. THE EXACT SAME THING MYLES GARRETT did. It’s from the 2013 season.

He was suspended 1 game. I’m gonna say that again: He was suspended………….1 game.

Myles Garrett’s suspension should immediately be reduced. If they NFL wants to make an example out of him, and show that his transgression was egregious and even worse than Smith’s (it wasn’t save for actually making contact), then at absolute most, it should be 2. Double the amount of the previous suspension. Let’s just get absolutely in insane and say that they are out for blood and a total overreaction to what took place, it should be 4. Anything over 4 is, pardon the hyperbole, an total travesty of justice.

There is a precedent set prior to this, and it’s 1 game. Also, Smith wasn’t in any way baited and instigated into the act the way Garrett was. He just did it. Like an animal.

According to MKC his appeal just ended and lasted less than 2 hours. My guess is 8 games will be the final tally

Myles retaliated and escalated. He deserves to be suspended at least 3x as long as the instigator.
