Per LaCanfora the Browns are doing due diligence and making head coaching calls. Better late than never if this is true!

I’d definitely give Josh McDaniels some due diligence. Not my first choice, but he’s been proven to be the coach which Kitchens was supposed to be, but Josh actually understands the game of football as well. Young, innovative, driven, pedigreed, and local. Belicheck disciples scare me, however.
I want no parts of McDaniels. We need to run the damn thing for once. Enough shotgun bullshit. Run and use play action. Goal should be 40 hand offs and 20 passes a game

Soup, I think what you want is a defensive head coach. That’s a guy that really values the rest time the defense gets while the offense is on the field.
I like running the ball as well, but also I’m a realist about the modern NFL game and would prefer to win a Superbowl in the 2020 instead of trying to win one in the 1980s.

And yet the 2 best teams in the NFL are too 5 in rush attempts and bottom 5 in pass attempts.
Instead of trying to “get with t times” run the god damn ball and win the games
