Per Mary Kay.
There’s zero hope for this franchise with Haslam in charge.
December 31, 2019 at 2:56 pm #17707the dudeParticipantAccording to the Browns, they want to take the team in one direction and Dorsey’s vision is another direction.
I would love to hear the difference in directions.
Haslems look like clowns again.
First time in 10 years we had a solid free agent signing.
Hue Jackson is a loser.
December 31, 2019 at 2:59 pm #17709GABrownsFanParticipantThe Haslams are deranged.
December 31, 2019 at 3:19 pm #17710IceKeymasterWhaa….. What the fuck!
December 31, 2019 at 3:26 pm #17712GABrownsFanParticipantMKC is tweeting that the Browns will interview Andrew Berry (and others) for the role of running the team.
Wecome to Bizzaro World.
December 31, 2019 at 3:30 pm #17713the dudeParticipantget ready for another 3-5 win season
Hue Jackson is a loser.
December 31, 2019 at 3:31 pm #17714IceKeymasterThis honestly makes me sick. Prognosticators are saying that the Haslams are looking to hire a HC who will have total personnel control and bring their own GM. I actually believe it based on what the Haslams said…
As the role of the general manager continues to evolve in this league we felt there were areas that needed to be reassessed. Over the last 48 hours, we’ve had discussion with John about his role but could not come to an agreement on a position that would enable him to remain with the organization
What a slap in the face. To Dorsey, and to us.
December 31, 2019 at 3:36 pm #17716Dawg E. DawgParticipantI’m ready to go full Dude and just respond with Jimmy Haslam is a loser to every post until they sell the team.

Makes me miss Randy Lerner. Dude had the common sense to say “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing” and give the keys to Holmgren.
December 31, 2019 at 4:03 pm #17724GABrownsFanParticipantI’m a Dodgers fan. The worst owners our team ever had were the McCourts several years ago. They were despised.
Compared to Jimmy and Dee, they don’t look so bad. And they were terrible.

December 31, 2019 at 7:09 pm #17732MDP Sack AttackParticipantEvidently Josh McDaniels won’t consider a team without bringing in his own front office. So connect those dots.
Hey, it’s Eric Mangini all over again!
Optimistically we bring in McCarthy and he keeps Wolf as GM so we have some continuity. Zero chance that actually happens.
January 1, 2020 at 4:36 am #17735DawgSoldierParticipantWell I really don’t like the move…..but I can kind of see some reasoning to it…
Devils Advocate:Baker over Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson who in year 2 are in the play offs
Zietler for Vernon…..didn’t really go our way IMO. Keeping Zietler and Ogbah may have been the better plan and developing Genard Avery.
And Dorsey went to bat for Freddy is what I heard so Freddy sunk Dorsey. Which sucks As I like both of those guys as leaders of men…Freddie just as OC though.

January 1, 2020 at 10:51 am #17736soupParticipantBlake Bortles was in the playoffs too.
Josh Allen has an incredible defense. They threw less TDS than Cleveland, 26 less attempts, less YPA and less yardage and lower completion %. Less turnovers was the key mixed with their defense.
Lamar Jackson has an offense designed around his strength. They threw the ball 100 LESS times than the Browns.
It all boiled down to coaching decisions in the regard of the QB.
Freddie would be the only reason for him to get fired

January 1, 2020 at 2:09 pm #17737MDP Sack AttackParticipantYeah, of all the reasons the Cleveland media has come up with to justify this, Kitchens is the only one that even makes a little sense (and the Haslams have failed on picking what, 5 coaches themselves?)
January 1, 2020 at 4:54 pm #17743IceKeymasterOnce Dorsey’s first HC choice proved to be a disaster he had a target on his back. Dorsey will be known as the guy who can pick players but can’t pick coaches. Now going into a HC search I imagine they told him he did NOT have final say on the coaching staff and asked him to be open to not having final say on players either. That was probably more humble pie than Dorsey could eat.
January 2, 2020 at 11:22 am #17748soupParticipantMcCarthy is being interviewed today
Freedom!!!
January 2, 2020 at 11:28 am #17749IceKeymasterI believe most of the interviews are happening today. Could have news by this evening.
January 2, 2020 at 12:19 pm #17750MDP Sack AttackParticipantMcCarthy/Wolf is probably the one combination I’d feel good about heading into next season. At least there would be some hope for continuity.
January 2, 2020 at 12:48 pm #17753DawgSoldierParticipantPretty good takes IMO.
