I was very sad to learn that his name is pronounced like ‘baton’ and not like ‘Patton’. Nonetheless he seems to be respected around the league. I have not been overwhelmed by the GM candidates that were announced but that’s what you get when they report to the HC.

He doesn’t. He reports to the owner and the coach reports to the owner. Typical Haslam. I think a homeless guy told him to draft me in round 1

“ Paton, a top choice of new coach Kevin Stefanski, opted to remain with the Vikings because he had a number of issues he had to work through, and wasn’t entirely comfortable with how it would all play out. He left here on Thursday with some questions about the power structure and the division of labor.”

Source said Browns GM job was ‘very tempting’ to George Paton, who was not at all scared off by Browns’ structure, was impressed with people in the building and thinks highly of Kevin Stefanski. But he felt he had a good thing still going in Minnesota. Came down to that.

Yeah, ALL Podesta’s fault. Smh.
