Well the 2020 NFL draft is over and day three gave us 3 more players
    1. TE Harrison Bryant 6′ 5″ 240 LBS from Florida Atlantic

    2. C Nick Harris 6′ 1″ 302 LBS from Washington

    3. WR Donavon Peoples Jones 6′ 2″ 207 LBS from Michigan

I’d say a good haul for day three your thoughts.

No real surprises for day 3 of the draft. These players could have small roles this year and become significant contributors in future years.

This is how it should be. Drafting players who you can develop while putting them in a position to succeed. Maybe you catch a real gem.

I wasn’t too surprised when we grabbed Harrison Bryant, he was BPA and with his history playing defense he’ll get plenty of playing time on special teams.
Grabbing a center shocked me, but with him available to play G or C he’s a depth option.
Peoples-Jones also surprised me, he’s not the type of WR I thought we would grab. As I said in another thread I thought we would grab a smaller speedster.

    Good day.

I was surprised with the Barnes selection, but like it.

I liked adding depth with Harris. He can play center or guard.

Let’s see what we have with People-Jones. A lot of potential there with him.

Grabbing the John Mackey award winner in round 4 was a steal. The Browns will be running 2 and 3 TE formations and he will fit right in. Great pick in my opinion.

Would have rather had KJ Hill instead of Peoples-Jones but I am not complaining on drafting him.

Mackey award winner in the 4th. Great value

A scheme fit interior OL in the 5th. Depth or competition that doesn’t make the team.

5 star HS recruit that ended up in horrible offensive systems with bad QB’s. Watching him return kickoffs he reminds me a touch of Cribbs with the long stride and power. Watching him play WR he reminds me of the good and bad versions of Braylon Edwards. Also he is the exact type of outside WR I think the Browns need opposite OBJ in 3+ WR sets.
