Would you have pulled the trigger?
I read it as the other way around, as the Browns offered the 1st overall pick, but the Seahawks declined.
It came down to Russel Wilson or Baker, and I definitely would have made that trade. Bakers only 5 or 6 years younger than Wilson, I don’t see where it’s even a debate.
Browns offered the #1 pick for him, your headline is misleading. And yes you do that trade 100 out of 100 times. No way Seattle would be dumb enough to take it

Seattle could of wanted Darnold or Allen instead of Baker at #1.
Would I made the trade, no. Because wilsons contract hamstrings what other piueces you sign where as bakers didn’t. The 2nd ordewr effects IMO is Seattle wanted to do the trade and keep the legion of boom together.
