I think it’s a pretty good read and I would love to hear your thoughts.
I like that the comments from/on the players (Mayfield, Tretter and Bitonio and the TE/WR with Mayfield). The scheme fit of the line as well.
Hiring Grigson was a bad move. He traded a 1st for Trnt Richardson. Completely ignored Indy’s o-line, left their team in shambles and is just a flat out jack-ass.
Ignoring Callahan’s comments on Stefanski as that’s meaningless. No coach will say “well, as a first year coach he’s sucking right now.”

Okay you don’t like Grigson for a mistake he made over 6 1/2 years ago by trading a first round pick (26 overall).
Mistakes happen and you learn from them.
Grigson did some good and some bad just like every other GM does. He was the Colts GM from 2012 – 2016 and in those seasons the Colts finished 11-5, 11-5, 11-5, 8-8 and 8-8. Never had a losing season with him as GM and he took over a team that a finished 2-14 in 2011. Just saying.I bet you still think Dorsey is a great GM even though he drafted Austin Corbett at 33 overall and hired Freddie Kitchens as HC. Oh, he also traded Kevin Zeitler to the NYG. Like I said mistakes happen.
Besides all that, Grigson isn’t the GM.
I wonder why you mention a bad choice a guy made that long ago but failed to mention that his teams never had a losing season.
He also completely ignored the offensive line and made other bad moves and treated players like trash.

If you ever listen to Pat McAfee talk, he’s got some stories about Grigson, and he has nothing but hate for the man. Which is crazy, when you consider McAfee seems like a genuinely friendly human being.
I don’t remember them all, but I know he said Grigson gave him shit multiple times and referred to him as “the fucking punter.” McAfee was an All-pro at the time, the Colts franchised tagged him once. And he could place kick as well, but never did because they had Viniatieri. And Grigson couldn’t bother to learn his name.

He was an for an on air interview at the stations I work at and I was walking on that floor looking for one of the jocks. He was walking by me and immediately cane up and introduced himself with a genuine smile. I didn’t even know he was in the building. Sean Casey introduces himself to me once too and he’s incredibly nice. When he said who he was I mentioned I’m an Indians fan and he was the guy who would never get a chance due to Thome. He said he still holds with Richie Sexon. Obviously Casey has the goods and just no room on the Tribe and went on to a fantastic career which I knew
