    All RBs

    OBJ

    Garrett

Denzel Ward – sealed the game by playing all DB positions on the last play

Goat: Noah Brown. When listening to the game in your car, it’s very confusing to hear “No, a Brown has it.” repeatedly.

Some people will complain no matter what.

The Browns won. The Browns scored 49 points. The Browns lead the league in scoring after a turnover. The Browns seemed like the wanted to blow the game but didn’t. In the past the team would have folded like a cheap suit (Soup probably has a few in his closet) but this time they didn’t.

Chubb got hurt and the running game still functioned as the team had over 300 yards rushing. While there were some questionable play calls, its not like the team is elite. They are growing and gaining confidence. The OL is pretty damn solid.

If I only had one gameball to give, it would be to the OL.
The team played really well for the better part of 3 quarters then fell apart for a 10 plus minute span. The did hold onto the lead though.

    3-1 fells good.

Todays game was another sign of this teams maturation and while not pretty a win and a record of 3-1 is better than many of us thought after week 1, now for my balls and goats

Balls HC Stefanski team playing with good direction
    Baker another week no int
OBJ and Juice what a pass to start us off
RB’s even with Chubb hurt and Hunt limited
    OL mean and dominating
    Ward sealed the win
    Myles nice day 2 sacks

3-1 feels fan freaking tastic it’s been what since 2001 since we’ve had this 2001 for crying out loud. this combo of GM and HC might just have us on track to have multipul years of playoff bound respectabilit, this is a great feeling.

Forgot to mention Cody Parkey. Perfect on the year 7-7 between FG and XP yesterday

Nope, he ‘missed’ an XP that got blocked for a 2pt conversion. IIRC blocked XP’s count as a miss in the stats.

It didn’t count because we converted it (unless ESPN didn’t fully update). And if his only miss is off a block where the guy was offsides (obviously we didn’t enforce it on the try) I’ll take it!

    GAME BALLS———

Wyatt Teller. He is an ELITE level pulling guard. His play this season has been all-pro.

John Dorsey. Gave up just a 5th and a 6th for Teller. Bills are stupid.

Juice and Landry. Forget the circus catches, forget all the TD’s (and TD passes), this gameball goes to 2 WR’s who take a HUGE amount of pride in their blocking. These guys probably have a little competition between themselves of who can throw the best downfield block for our RB’s. Anyone who calls OBJ a Primadonna doesn’t know shit.

Jack Conklin. During the blocked XP, he was the first to say that it should get us 2 points. Clearly see him holding up 2 fingers to the refs correctly telling them how to do their job.

Harrison Bryant. Quietly getting us the tough yards and some key 1st downs.

Donovan Peoples-Jones. His first game active IIRC. Clearly came out with a special teamer mindset (and I mean that in a good way). He was gonna make a difference on every single play he was on the field. He had a key block on offense and laid a dude out.

    GOATS———-

Refs. Seemed to have no idea how to score the blocked XP 2pt conversion until Conklin told them.

Sendejo. This guy is boom or bust and yesterday it was a lot more bust. Not only did he miss some assignments and tackles but he also BROKE UP 2 almost guaranteed INT’s by his own team!

The announcers – Normally I like Daryl Johnston but when he’s calling a Cowboys game he’s insufferable. Also maybe learn to pronounce the players’ and HC’s name? “Coach Stephanic” and “Joe Batano”…. Also both of them had their heads fully up their own asses about the clear helmet to helmet personal foul. That was textbook definition of the penalty.

The Cowboys. For trying to make a game out of their lost cause and making us put our 1st stringers back on the field.

I was fine with the refs conference on it. Had to make sure:

    1. It was touched by Dallas first

    2. It was actually recovered in the end zone

    3. What the penalty was

    4. Where to enforce it (if it was outside recovery then Browns take it on the try and re-kick)

I’ve been very impressed with the refs this year overall.

I LOVE Daryl Johnston yesterday. He told you how it is. Run the ball, control the clock and win the game.

    Another goat forgotten:

Hands of our defenders. 3 dropped ints!

    I forgot the BIGGEST GOAT

Political ads. STFU. This is football, not politics. Every commercial break we had 5 political ads and only 2 guys are running!

Who doesn’t like the Moose? My dad’s top 3 players all time and a big part of why Emmit Smith had a hall of fame career.

Really nice point out on Teller. These guys are playing absolutely outstanding together.

Also, big props to obj and Landry for their blocking….. These guys really help us get the extra yard or two.

Obj deserves a huge game ball from yesterday…. That was a 15 yard loss he turned into a Browns highlight reel dare I say it.

A quick assessment – we will have some games where things will be tough if we plan on being a one dimensional team. Baker again was less than impressive yesterday…. He seems to be able to manage the offense well, but he panics in the pocket, misses guys when they are open because he is panicking, and he is inaccurate.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

There were several holding calls and one hands to the face on Dallas that the refs completely ignored. Some of their calls were iffy at best.

The main thing is in spite of everything, including almost blowing a huge lead, we won. I would much rather win that game than lose. The Browns still need secondary help and desperately need linebackers.
