According to NFL network Browns RB Nick Chubb has an MCL sprain and will miss 3 to 4 weeks.
October 5, 2020 at 12:31 pm #19443MDP Sack AttackParticipantThey just updated; the Browns expect him to miss six weeks.
October 5, 2020 at 12:41 pm #19444mike barnesParticipantStill it’s not as bad as we all feared, he’ll be back for the post season push.
October 5, 2020 at 2:16 pm #19446MDP Sack AttackParticipantHonestly, the next two games are going to b tough as hell (Colts and Steelers) and we could really use Chubb to grind it out. Beyond that we actually have a pretty easy stretch until we play the Titans on Dec 6th, followed by the Ravens. We actually have a really easy schedule, I don’t think 10 wins, even without Chubb, is a stretch.
October 5, 2020 at 2:27 pm #19447soupParticipantIf D’Ernest Johnson can run like that while Chubb is out that’ll be an enormous boost. He ran with power and determination. Missing Chubb for the Steelers sucks and with Hunts groin issue he needs someone like that to spell him.
Freedom!!!
October 5, 2020 at 4:27 pm #19450IceKeymasterWe’ll miss you Chubb. Get well soon.

October 5, 2020 at 5:12 pm #19453IceKeymasterThe falloff from Chubb to Hunt is minor. Chubb is a better power runner and Hunt is a better receiver, but not by much.

Yeah, but it’s a shared backfield. The fall of from Chubb and Hunt to Hunt and Johnson is more significant.
October 5, 2020 at 6:43 pm #19462BrownsFan4LifeParticipantThe Browns have not said how long he will miss but we know it will be at least 3 weeks (minimum IR stay). I would think 4 or 5 weeks but it depends. Maybe our running game is rolling and we don’t need to try and rush him back. Chubb has been through rehab before and really dedicates himself to it which is why Stefanski said he isn’t putting a timeframe on it.
