Round 1 Pick 21: Pete Werner, LB, Ohio State
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 239.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.64.
Werner IMO is the best tOSU prospect since James Laurinaitis, I am extremely high on him. He can cover, has out standing technique and hits like a truck and is a sure tackeler. He is moving from Sam inside to Will this season because the staff in Columbus think he is the best LB they have.

Round 2 Pick 21: Sevyn Banks, CB, Ohio State
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 200.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.5.
Banks is an thletic freak that needs to work on his technique/fundamentals but his limited play time is he has had some ubber talented 1st rounders in front of him.

Round 3 Pick 11: Aidan Hutchinson, DE/DT, Michigan
    Height: 6-6. Weight: 278.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.76.
Hutch is a tweener that can rush the passer from the end spot or inside and provide depth at both as well be a stout run defender on the edge.

Round 3 Pick 21: Tyreke Smith*, DE, Ohio State
    Height: 6-4. Weight: 267.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.7.
Smith is more of a run defending DE that can pass rush, then passs rusher that can defend the run. He has nice burst off the ball and plays with great technique

Round 4 Pick 7: Neil Farrell Jr., DT, LSU
    Height: 6-4. Weight: 319.
    Projected 40 Time: 5.29.
Big man that is a rotational depth prospect with upside.

Round 4 Pick 21: Reed Blankenship, S, MTST
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 200.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.5.
Most guys see this guy and ahhhhh a small school white guy playing S in NFL that isn’t well….. common. This guy is gonna show up and show out at the combine. But will still drop due big fish small pond assesments/level of competiton. The kid can play ether S spot but is more of a natural center fielder than a box safety. He also can be a nickel defender as well, so he is versatile.

Round 5 Pick 25: Paddy Fisher, ILB, Northwestern
    Height: 6-4. Weight: 241.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.78.
Fisher isn’t gonna test well at the combine. What he does well is play LB. He is almost never out of position and usually in position before the opponent gets there as he has superb instincts and technique. And almost never misses a tackle
    .
Round 6 Pick 21: Christian Uphoff, S, Illinois State
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 195.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
Pure height/weight/speed pick that can play ST and be a possible pet project for the defensive staff “IF” he beets others like him out for a spot on the roster.

Round 7 Pick 32: Vincent Gray*, CB, Michigan
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 185.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.51.
Pure height/weight/speed pick that can play ST and be a possible pet project for the defensive staff “IF” he beets others like him out for a spot on the roster.

DID alot of projecting because of COVID BTW.

I can see that. But you could say that about LSU and the last draft too…

Am I higher than most on Werner and Banks. Yup. DO tOSU picks tend to go to the league and crap the bed? Not really.

wouldn’t mind a CB from OSU they put out some good ones, though i see why the sec guys appeal to a lot of nfl teams speed soeed and speed.
