My 1st thought is DPJ as he is an outside WR and a beast of a run blocker. He also the best athlete in the WR room not from LSU.
Shooter on his Barking Lot Pod cast think it will be Higgy…My Push back on that is Higgy works best from the slot so….?
Another thought I had is maybe you just flex Njoku out wide once Hooper is good to go. I mean I think Njoku should be able to run block a DB at least 😀
Hodge is still on IR, so thats why he isn’t an option just yet.
Thoughts?

as a 3rd WR yes….as a #2??????
Food for thought:
DPJ had the top sparq at the combine earlier this year and there were a lot of good WRs at that combine.
His jumps were what put him in the top 1%. 44.5 vert 11.58 broad. This means that he can jump and that he’s got very strong legs which is useful for things like blocking, and breaking tackles. 4.48 and 1.54 are his combine 40 and 10 split. With that top 1% sparq, there have to be situations where he just wins physical matchups. If you look at his highlights, you’ll see quite a few cases where a db tries to tackle DPJ and just bounces off. With a 44.5 vert at 212, he might just be a solid piece of granite in the lower body, unusual for a fast WR, and when a db pushes him, expecting to go out of bounds, he might find that simply doesn’t work with DPJ. I expect at least 1 big play when a db doesn’t realize that his typical tackling style just won’t work, and DPJ will go for a TD. DPJ is the only WR left IMO that can be a threat to go deep so that teams can’t load the box vs the run.
Also Higgy is good at finding the soft parts of zone. Not good at getting of press man on the outside

When day 3 of the draft came this spring I was hopping up and down for the Browns to draft this kid. His SPARQ scores IMO made him a great project/gamble on day 3. I was shocked he lasted till the 6th round. Getting Harrison Bryant and DPJ on day 3 was highway robbery IMO.
