    Figured a single thread about today’s game might be worth having..

    Oh and Ian Rapoport is reporting that Bowe will be inactive against the Jets. Glad we are getting our money’s worth out of that deal.

    Also we cut a 4th round pick (and local fav Terrelle Pryor) to keep Bowe on the roster.

    Very rarely do I actually go into the season feeling bummed about our chances…this year is one of them. Perhaps, I’ll be pleasantly surprised…but outlook is currently doubtful.

    As far as today’s game goes…

    1. We HAVE to be able to run the ball.
    2. We HAVE to be able to stop the rush.
    3. Our pass defense HAS to be as expected.
    4. Our pass offense HAS to be effective.

    The Jets are sort of a mirror image of the Browns except that they aren’t making ‘drunk dial’ type player transactions.

    I think Orchard has been hurt, but seeing Cooper out is a surprise/disappointment.

    Im optimistic (I ALWAYS am) about the season. I just think our offense is going to do enough and our defense is going to be pretty good.
