Browns Sign Trey Hendrickson DE formerly of the Saints. Why: Have 2 DE’s that generate double digit sacks just makes your D nasty. Also I am not a fan of this edge rusher class a right now. So thats why I went all in on FA DE.

Washington trades: 41: R2 P9 for Clevelands: OBJ & 94: R3 P30. Why: Because the team can operate without OBJ and his 15 mil a year price tag is better used else where. Chubb Ward and others for example. Also the WFT needs play makers on offence badly.

    Draft:
24: R1 P24 Zaven Collins LB Tulsa 6-4 260 Why: Because this kid is special. He is the Chris Carter of LB prospects: “All he does is make plays”. For 6 games this year: 48 tackles including 10.5 TFL and 4 sacks; 4 interceptions with 2 pick-sixes; a forced fumble and a safety. This guy is SPECIAL.

41: R2 P9 Israel Mukuamu CB South Carolina 6-4 205 Why: Because he is a cover 3 CB for the Gamecocks and the Browns run a cover 3 D. He also has played dafety and some see that as his position in the league. I don’t I think his best fit is as a cover 3 D CB, which is what he is good at.

56: R2 P24 Hamsah Nasirildeen SS Fla. St. 6-4 220 Why: Because unlike Sendajo he actually wraps and is a sure tackeler. He also is a box safety that can cover TE’s. He is perfect for the Cam Chanceler role in a cover 3 D.

87: R3 P23 Tedarrell Slaton DT Florida 6-5 340 Why: Because controlling the line of scrimage on D leads to wins. And this guy is a 2 down nose tackle that demands a double team. He will make the Browns run D better and keep the LB’s clean.

109: R4 P7 Nico Collins WR Michigan 6-4 222 Why: Because Harbaugh sucks as coach devloping talent at the WR position. Collins is a redzone threat as well as possesion reciver with size and some speed. His route running could be better.

126: R4 P24 Keith Taylor CB Washington 6-3 200 Why: A press man corner that can play in a cover 3 D. Taylor has alot going for him skill wise. What he hasn’t done yet is put it all together. If he did he would be a day one pick. What he he needs is coaching to help him to get there.

166: R5 P25 Wyatt Hubert DE Kansas State 6-3 260 Why: Because depth at DE is meh after this year. Hubert is alot like Porter Gustin, in that he is a relentless try hard tough SOB that just gets it done.

202: R6 P23 Vincent Gray CB Michigan 6-2 185 Why: Because Harbough sucks at developing talent, and the kid has it but needs to fill out more to with stand the rigors of the league. He also needs to hone his craft as CB and will be a bit of a project.

248: R7 P26 Deontay Anderson SS Houston 6-2 217 Why: Because he plays with good technique and quickness but doesn’t have a lot of speed. Also you need depth at safety running a big nickel.

Isn’t OBJ likely out for most of next season? Maybe I had read incorrectly but I thought he was looking at a year’s recovery time.

I expect 6-8 months with the state of high medical science being brought bear.
