Stefanski – the fact we refused to run is moronic

Woods – to not put a spy on the worst throwing QB in NFL history you may be a fucking moron.

Browns – for missing the playoffs yet again and finishing 9-7 after getting trounced the next 2 weeks

Simply disgusted. Pathetic trash bullshit performance. Season over

Turn the game off Soup. You don’t get to watch the 2nd half.

This may be the worst piece of shit thread I’ve read. Ever. Not limited to this site.

That reaction to the game I just watched is inexcusable.

We allowed Trace Fucking McSorely to complete a pass on 3rd and 10. We allowed the worst throwing QB in the history of the NFL to march into FG range without issue. We have a coach who fucking throw fucking 47 fucking times while handing it off a combined 23 times to Chubb and Hunt. Stefanski is a mirage. The moment he got Baker caught up on throwing he became a useless asshat and turned into Freddie Fucking Kitchens and refuses to run the god damn football. Finally stop them and you throw from your own 12? Asshole. Run the fucking god damn mother fucking football. You won 7 fucking games running it and just throw that completely out the window. 9-7 finish. To beat up from the biggest loss to date and the Giants will kill us. Gallman will run for 200+. NJY will get their miracle win vs us and Steelers will torch us. 9-7. It’s done. We lost the biggest must win game of the year. Ravens will finish 11-5. The fact we lost to them today of all days is unforgivable. Parkey should be cut tomorrow.

We’re 9-4. Get a fucking hold of yourself.

Our offense just put up 42 points and can back from a 14 point deficit. Not running the ball was not the reason we lost.

You sound like a 10 year old fan of a 4-9 team. Grow up.

We threw 47 times, ran 23 and lost. We’ve won 7 games via running the football. The past 2 weeks we became a pass happy team. That’s not how you win games. Horrific time management with 2 minutes left in the half. Had we run it the Ravens don’t get that TD.

Tell me then, you agree on 3rd and long to not QB spy a RB playing QB? Why?

All out blitz on a RB playing QB when up by a point? Remember how Gregg Williams lost to the Raiders? We did the same shit.

Throwing from our own 12 after finally stopping them? Inexcusable.

This loss, today, was unacceptable. If you aren’t familiar with the anniversary of today in relation to the Browns – this was not the day to lose.

We lost the game. there are no “2nd place” trophies. If we somehow get lucky and make the playoffs, the Ravens will be there too ahead of us at 11-5.

We scored 42 points. Stfu with your blaming the offense bullshit. Wait, we should have scored 46 if Parkey made the kicks. 46 points. Stfu.

I never said shit about agreeing or disagreeing with the defense.

We will make the playoffs. If we win out, we’re 12-4, not 11-5.

Your precious Ravens, who you’ve already marked up as 11-5, are on the outside looking in currently. THEY’RE the ones that don’t control their own destiny. We do.

Do you remember the Chiefs-Rams Thursday night game from a year or 2 ago? I do. Both teams finished with 40+ points. I watched that game thinking, how lucky are the fans of these 2 teams that they can just enjoy this game, knowing they have the qb and coach in place, and they’ll be watching playoff football, win or lose. That’s what I saw in Cleveland tonight. I’m 34, and I’ve never had long term hope for the Browns. Even in their wins, I could see the gimmicks and luck and shit that wouldn’t hold up in the long run. Never. In 34 years. Tonight, I know what the Chiefs and Rams fans felt like. And I’m not going to listen to a 2 year old like you try to take that away.

The Browns scored 42 points and that includes a missed FG and missed XP. Could have been more if their weren’t a few key drops.

The defense sucked most of the game. That is where the blame goes. Goats on the defense.

We were blown out 38-6 against Baltimore in the season opener. Tonight, we just lost a shootout in one of the most exciting games of the year. The team is heading in the right direction. Yeah, a loss is a loss. But we’re sitting at 9-4 with the Giants and Jets coming up.

Beats talking about the draft in October.

Dawg, I was also thinking about that KC/LA game tonight while watching the game. I was thinking the same thing you were back then. Tonight, we were on the national stage and put on a show with Balt. It was a great game–we just came up short.

No Denzel Ward was the difference maker tonight.

Ward could comfortably lock down Brown without a safety helping. That safety could just spy Jackson the whole game, completely changing our defense.

    This.

Also Soup you don’t get to watch the next 2 games because you’ve said we’re going to lose them. No point in making you watch them, they could further damage your fragile ego.

We won 3 of the last 4 in 2007, you dope. That was to scratch and claw our way to 10-6. This is nothing like ‘07.

We haven’t clinched the playoffs yet and lost a must win game. We lost to the Bengals in 2007 which set us up to rely on others to lose. It’s shaping up that way again.

Oh, I know what your thinking is, Chicken Little. It’s just wrong. This wasn’t a must win game. We’re still in the driver seat.

Soup needs to take a chill pill, yes we lost and it stinks but for the first time in years we had a team that can score with anybody and it feels great, no team is perfect and yes we need a lot of work on our defense this off season, but we also have more upside than a lot of teams in the nfl.

As I said, this game was must win. This loss destroyed any tie breaker chance.
