MDP Sack AttackParticipantWell, he has already improved from last year, although it would have been impossible not to. I suppose he’ll look a little better this week with more first-team reps and facing a weaker defense…although it would be tough not to look better than last week.
There’s a great life lesson here; set the bar low.

IceKeymaster@mdp-sack-attack so what is your vote?
Setting the expectations low is a lesson I learned a decade ago, at least when it comes to the Browns. I vowed never to get too excited about a draft pick again, and I broke that vow only once (Brady Quinn). I thought he was gonna be awesome.

durakbaneParticipantI’m not even sure he will be the starter. All signs point to tomorrow’s practice as the decider…of course, McCown has to practice to make tomorrow a factor.

MDP Sack AttackParticipantI voted for the second option, although he’s never going to get rid of the turnovers. Even if he somehow lives up to the potential Jimmy Haslam saw in him and makes the hall of fame, he’s going to be much more Brett Favre than Joe Montana. There will be plenty of turnovers.
