First time in a long time I can say the offense looks pretty good. It looks like we had a game plan today. Yes we had a couple of questionable fumbles that fell our way, but I can say the line held some holes, didn’t have the penalties we normally have and we took a couple of deep shots.

I will say today was Manziels best game. I think he played pretty well and for the most part made pretty good decisions. His passes seems to be on target and it looks like he practice with the first string. I liked the play calling today and really the only one I was disappointed on was going for it on fourth….I think we should have kicked a field goal – but I understand why the decision was made.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

DISCLAIMER: I didn’t get to see much of the game..the final couple minutes…literally the play before the last Benjamin TD to the end of the game.

    Negatives:
    1. It was against Tennessee. So, sure, we may compete against the bottom dwellers, but I’d feel much better if we got wins against winning teams.

    2. Where’s Dwayne Bowe? Where’s Hartline?

    3. We gave up 257 yards passing, 2 TDs, and no INTs to a rookie QB in his second start.

    4. We gave up 166 rushing yards on 30 carries for a 5.5 ypc average.

In other words, which was the bigger anamoly…Mariota week #1 or Benjamin and his 3 TDs this week?

Outstanding performance by Benjamin, but I worry that it wasn’t exactly an explosion on the offensive side of the ball.

    Positives:
    1. On defense: 7 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries. They closed out the game at the end.

    2. Travis Benjamin is explosive. Each of his TDs were at least 50 yards.

    3. Manziel showed flashes of the player he was in college. Which is encouraging considering the big doubt is that his college game wouldn’t translate to the NFL. NOTE: He’s gotta hold onto the ball..that’s a death sentence for a mobile QB.

    4. We won a game we rightfully should have won before the game started.

Overall, its a win and I’ll never complain about a win. I just don’t think it is a forecast of future success.

@durakbane – thanks for the reply

1 – we are a bottom dweller, when we can win, we are thankful.

2 – who’s dwayne bowe? he really wont be on this team next year. he is old and sucks. hartline was matched up with their best cb all day and he made 2 plays on him – (hartline is not a number 1)

3 – those numbers didnt start happening until we were up 21 – nothing and started playing some prevent

4 – again, they didn’t start moving the ball until later in the game.

1 – defense played spectacular – we stopped blitzing one first and second in second half and gave up a little then, but they put the pressure on early.

2 – benjamin played his best game – we all know he can create some excitement and he is finding the ball deep.

3 – manziel dropped the ball on two bad breaks. it happens to every qb. he really looked strong and didnt go to the run first – instead he trusted his receives routes and threw the ball where they should be.

4 – i don’t agree with this point. i put us lower on the chart than tenn even with a rookie qb

Final note – this is the first time that all Heisman trophy winners played qb in back to back games.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

I feel good about most of Sundays game, worried about jff holding onto the ball though seems almost every time he’s hit the ball comes out.

I think the best thing about our offense this week is that we didn’t put the game in the hands of a very unproven commodity at QB. 27 rushing plays, 15 passing plays. It’s so strange that we had only 42 offensive plays and still won, but we rushed almost twice as much as we passed. Let’s see @Soup be bitter about that!
