This was the 53 man breakdown by position going into the 2020 regular season (for reference):

    Quarterbacks (2)
    Running backs (3)
    Fullbacks (1)
    Tight ends (5)
    Wide receivers (6)
    Offensive linemen (9)
    Defensive linemen (8)
    Linebackers (6)
    Defensive backs (10)
    Specialists (3)

It will be an interesting offseason and preseason. There are definitely some players who will have to fight for a spot. Nick Harris is one player who is all but guaranteed to have a roster spot. He is going into his second year and did a great job when called upon last year.
Redwine and Wilson are definitely on the bubble.
I think keeping 10 DL is too many.

This will be the first year that I can remember when there are going to be players getting cut who will definitely be picked up by another team and actually contribute.

I mostly agree, with a few exceptions:

RB: I have a hard time seeing them cut D’Ernest Johnson. He has done a fantastic job filling in, and is a great fit for our system. I think he’d have a good shot to compete for a starting job, on most any other team.

OT: I think they find a way to keep Hubbard, at least to start the season. He’s not a starter, but he’s shown to be a quality backup. Hudson is obviously their long term plan, but he’s very raw and I think he’ll have to really have a strong camp to make the Browns comfortable with him as their only backup tackle. Too much of their offense is dependant on great line play.

C: You think they’re giving up on Harris after one season? He was overpowered a bit filling in at guard, so maybe they don’t think he has enough versatility going forward.

LB: I think Wilson is out, and Malcom Smith sticks around. They’re on almost identical contracts, but Smith outplayed Wilson last year and brings some leadership to the linebacking corps.

CB: He’s said all the right things so far, but I wonder how Williams will react when Newsome is inevitably named the starter.

K: curious to see what happens if McCrane has a good camp.

LOL I know. I remember when we’d be following released players from the good teams and wondering if we’d sign anybody. Now we’re one of those good teams. Still getting used to it.
