August 23, 2021 at 7:04 pm #21053Dawg E. DawgParticipantIf they keep a backup fullback over D’Ernest Johnson, I’ll personally drive to Berra and punch Andrew Berry in the face.
August 23, 2021 at 7:14 pm #21054Dawg E. DawgParticipantOh, I see you cut Janovich. Yeah, that’s not happening. If I had to pick somebody to get rid of to keep Johnson and Janovich, I’d say Hance maybe. But No way Stanton makes it over Janovich.
August 23, 2021 at 10:21 pm #21055DawgSoldierParticipantIMO STanton’s versatility trumps Janovichs niche role as a pure FB.
As for Johnson, Feltons versatility as a swiss army knofe is the reason Johnson gets cut. Felton can do everything Johnson can plus more.

August 23, 2021 at 10:53 pm #21056MDP Sack AttackParticipantI think Johnson definitely makes the cut. He’s proven to be a great backup for Chubb and Hunt, he has years of experience and chemistry so if there’s an injury he can step right in even if he doesn’t get many reps, and more than anything he’s proven to be an excellent special teams player. The latter is what is getting him picked over anyone else.

I think high value offensive depth players like Johson Higgans and Hubbard are potential player for player trade assets. To address depth at other positions.

August 30, 2021 at 6:44 pm #21063MDP Sack AttackParticipantThat seems pretty realistic. If I’m nitpicking I’d probably say one less offensive lineman and one more corner.
September 1, 2021 at 12:52 pm #21072soupParticipantLions picked up Hodge and their core is so terrible he may end up starter

Remembered this conversation this morning, for some reason, lol. Very glad I didn’t have to punch Berry in the face.
