    Game ball:

    Defense. Ridiculous today.

    Goats:

Stefanski – 3 times the asshat called a pass in a running situation with under 4 minutes to go.

Mayfield- 2nd horrible game in a row

    ———-

First 2 games no OBJ Mayfield was stellar. 2 games with and Mayfield was terrible. Trade Beckham now.

I don’t think it is OBJ. I think it is the fact he dislocated and relocated his hsoulder in the bears game.

I’m all about baker, but you can’t put that on OBJ today. Odell had a walk in TD and Baker hit the DB in the helmet. ALL DAY his passes were wild.

I don’t know if it’s his shoulder or what, but it looks bad. Hopefully he comes out next week throwing fire, because today was terrible to watch.

Also, Money McLaughlin deserves a gameball. Hit a another big one to go up 7. And Hunt. He’s played his ass off the last two weeks.

It is weird though, Baker has been hitting a LOT of guys this week and last who ARENT LOOKING FOR THE BALL. Does that seem weird to anybody else? Like, I know it happens, but I can’t ever remember it happening as frequently as it has been happening with Baker this week and last. Thoughts? Am I crazy?

Baker’s accuracy definitely looks off, and the shoulder seems like the most obvious culprit. It’s less decision making (although he missed that one easy read on a third down to the running back in the flat) and more that his passes are a foot or two off.

That pass rush, though. We’re getting consistent pressure, this week against a great offensive line, and we don’t even have to blitz to do it.

Baker overthinking it with OBJ in the game. We trade him and things get normal again. There’s some weird mental block. Are the coaches talking about the need to get OBJ the ball too much instead of dictated by coverage? I feel like most routes overall are garbage since OBJ came back. Designed to get it to him solely.

As for the DL. Clowney was a complete wrecking ball yesterday

Don’t forget, Baker also lost his most reliable outlet in Landry. That’s a big factor as well.
