CUT Beckham Jr. & Landry and gain 30 mill in cap space Hardly any tread left in on the tire. Often injured with very little production. Thats hwy I am leting them go in favor of keeping productive players.

Estimated 2022 cap hit on Free Agent class: 30 million One of the point of this mockoffseason was to illustrate how getting rid of the LSU WR duo. Is just good business/roster building.

    Drafting pick positions via PFN.
CLE 20. Drake London WR USC + (Broken Ankle)
HT 6-5 WT 210 Writeup: One of the BEST WR’s in the country who now has a busted ankle. So he falls a bit due to injury. Thru 8 games he had 88 receptions, 7 TD’s, and 1084 yards. Thats a HIGHLY productive stat line. He will the Browns new #1 WR.

CLE 52. Demarvion Overshown OLB Texas
HT 6-4 WT 223 Writeup: Butkus Award Semifinalist. Overshown reminds me of Barkivious Mingo in a good one way. A player with a long lean frame with speed for days with side line to side line range. Only this time said player isn’t miscast as an edge rusher. Overshown started out as a Safety at Texas and moved to LB. So in theory he is in the mold of the S/LB hybrid Woods defense call for.

CLE 84. Cameron Thomas EDGE San Diego State
HT 6-5 WT 270 Writeup: Benadarick award Semi Finalist. According to Pro Football Focus, Thomas is graded out as the top defensive player in the country at 90.5 (min. 400 snaps). Thomas is also first in quarterback hits (15) and second in quarterback pressures (sacks/hits/hurries) (44). Over the last 11 games dating back to last season, he has 69 tackles (37 solo), 19.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks. Now all this in the Moutain West admittedly. So there are legit big fish in a small pound concerns. But that isn’t to say there isn’t ability there ether. Bottom line IMO he could be a 43 LDE starter in the league.

CLE 103. Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati
HT 6-3 WT 213 Writeup: Pierce is a guy that just competes at a high level and just plays with a hard nosed physicallity. His play and attitude remind of Celtic Legend Larry Bird. He will tell what he is gonna do, go do it and then talk some serious trash. And then rinse and repeat.

CLE 122. Sterling Weatherford S (to LB convert) Miami-Oh
    HT 6-4 WT 223 Writeup:
Weatherford plays tight ends very well and has lined up all over for the Red Birds. In the Browns scheme he would be a MLB or a OLB though. His versatility to blitz off the edge, stuff the run and play coverage makes him and ideal convert to LB IMO. He is my attempt thru multiple mock draft to find the hybrid player to fill in at the 2nd level for Joe Woods D.

CLE 162. Riley Moss CB Iowa
HT 6-1 WT 194 Writeup: Moss is a good outside corner, Moss is a good inside corner. Moss is a good at zone, press and man coverage. What is Moss great at you ask. Being a ball hawk. While there isn othing a great about his coverage skills. What allows him to be great is his ability to bait QB’s into bad throws and sit on routes. At the next level he could be ether a good 2nd corner or a good slot corner. What ever you need. He is one of those versatile glue guy defenders.

CLE 199. John Ridgeway DT Akansas
HT 6-6 WT 320 Writeup: A large productive two down nose tackle. Ridgeway has been a keystone component to the Razorbacks defense this season after transferring in from 4 years Illinois State. He will do the same for the Browns run defense

CLE 221. Noah Gindorff TE North Dakota State
HT 6-6 WT 266 Writeup: A road grader on the edge in the run game. But also a great safety vavle and redzone target in the pass game. Gindorff isn’t a burner by TE standards but posses enough speed to find zoft zones and whole in the defense.

    Thoughts? Feed back? Critques?

Jarvis Landry is 28 years old, and this year marks the first time he’s missed any games in his career. Nothing you said about him is in any way true.

He may not be worth his contract, but it’s not becuase he has declined in any way. One terrible game does not define a career.

Look right now the narrative and the facts say Jarvis is a declining player on a massive contract.

Do I like Jarvis the guy. Hell yeah.

Do I like keeping him and his contract vs resigning younger and or more productive Browns free agents. Nope.

Bottom line: OBJ and Landry’s production are easily replacable at a much cheaper rate.

I said his contract is more than he’s worth. Always has been.

But the rest of your post? I don’t give a damn about the narrative. Give me facts that say a 28 year old player is declining. 1 bad game is an anomaly, not declining.
