why are we so penalty prone??? is it from pressing so hard to produce (somewhat, i believe) or trying to make up for getting beat on the play, holding, snatching jerseys, offsides to get an edge…

You hit that right on the nose. All the penalties were actually well deserved.
I understand the Keenan Allen penalties. He is one of the best in the league and Badamosi isn’t a great matchup. Honestly, I thought his coverage wasn’t that bad. I mean the touchdown was a hell of a play and there were a couple of throws that were not defensible. When he did get burnt, he had a penalty throw on him.
The sloppiness of jumping off sides and giving first downs was just absolutely ridiculous.

I don’t know what the final number was but I believe it was something like 6 first downs resulted from penalties? I know at one time the chargers were 1 – 7 on 3rd downs.
What can we say about defensive backs though? Keenan Allen should have been matched up with Joe Haden. I can’t blame badimosa – even though I am sure Soup would.

not to mention he in claiming 11 for 11…..I cannot dispute whether his statistic is made up or not because I am not going back and rewatching those games. He very easily could be cherry picking things again. Also, he could be claiming coverage that originally was haden’s and was suppose to be picked up by a safety.
