Shocker. Actually the funny part is that it took until the day before the game for Pettine to decide between starting Manziel or a 36 year old journeyman with every bone in his body broken. What does that say about their faith in Johnny? You see in the pressers that Pettine struggles when asked about Manziel’s work ethic. ‘It’s better than last year’ or ‘He’s progressing steadily’. Those are both ways of saying it still stinks. Yeah, better than last year. Is that setting the bar high?
