Goats:
Johnny Manziel:
Weakest arm since Ken Dorsey. That deep out was brutal. He has no zip on the ball – not one pass showed NFL quality arm strength.
Several high passes to open WR.
Stares down WR – only looks at one option before running.
Terrible pocket presence
Terrible field vision
Makes Charlie Frye look like a 1st ballot HOF QB.
Defensive line – horrific against the run. Though by games end after 7 o 9 offensive drives ended in 3 and out there’s not much you can do.
Coaching staff. It was evident that Manziel was not ready to play. It was evident he’s not a hard worker in practice as he was completely unprepared. It was evident Hoyer should’ve been put in after half time and they didn’t pull the trigger thereby throwing the season completely away.
Jimmy Haslam – for forcing Farmer to trade up for Manziel.
Dowell Loggains (whatever our QB coach’s name is) for taking a text to Haslam to draft a college QB who clearly wouldn’t translate to the NFL in round 1.
Shanahan – Take your college offense with you and please leave. You deserve punched in the face for going empty back field QB draw on 3rd and 2 when your RB has 8 yards on 2 carries.
The fans – for being insane enough to actually watch this atrocity of a team.

December 14, 2014 at 4:26 pm #333IceKeymasterLike you I can’t find a single player to give a gameball to. Perhaps Leonhard deserves one for again always putting himself in the right place at the right time and fighting up until the end. Kruger put in a solid effort and now has double digit sacks on the season. Hoyer did nothing wrong so maybe he should get one.

December 14, 2014 at 4:57 pm #337IceKeymasterGame ball to Cundiff for not missing a game-winning kick.
Additional goat to the offensive line. Just terrible. They were dominated in both the run and pass game all day long.
December 14, 2014 at 5:01 pm #338DawgPoundDudeParticipantDamn, was it that bad? Just got home. I’ll have to watch on Rewind tonight/tomorrow. Maybe.
December 14, 2014 at 5:12 pm #339MDP Sack AttackParticipantDPD: just take take the biggest hammer you can find, hold it over your head two handed, and smash it into your dick as hard as you possibly can. Same effect, but you’ll save ~3 hours.
December 14, 2014 at 5:12 pm #340soupParticipantDo NOT waste your time. It was the worst performance by a QB I’ve seen since
Garcia’s 0.0 rating. There are no redeeming qualities nor any NFL worthy aspects to his game.Freedom!!!
December 14, 2014 at 6:19 pm #342MDP Sack AttackParticipantGameball; the pizza shop up the street, for agreeing to put pepperoni on my meatball sub. Also, my fridge for having a couple beers hidden behind some leftovers.
December 15, 2014 at 9:14 am #344IceKeymasterOne of my biggest disappointments was the revelation that up until this week Johnny has been there when required and that’s about it. He’s been showing up at 9 and staying until 5. This week he began showing up at 7 and staying until 7 which is good, but that means that the rest of the year he’s missed 4 hours A DAY of work he could have been getting in to prepare for his first start. Film work, getting on the same page with receivers, sitting with coaches and learning the whole offense; it was very clear to everyone watching that he was not prepared for his first NFL game. If he had put in more than the minimum required effort then I’d say it was on the coaching staff but the fact is that a QB can’t just come from college and work 40 hours a week and expect to be successful at the pinnacle of this sport.
I’ve said many times that I don’t care what Johnny does in his off time; I don’t care about Swans and champaign and Drake as long as he’s doing what he can to be successful on the field. So now I’m gonna say it; he should NOT be attending Cavs games. He should NOT be going out late. He should NOT do anything that keeps him from being at the practice field and ready to work at 7AM EVERY DAY. He’s not good enough to get by without lots and lots of hard work. This isn’t college. He’s not playing against Ball state.
