I’ve stated this a few times, and I know it’s not necessarily a popular opinion around here…but I stand by it.

He’s not an All-Pro, but he’s at least league average, which means 10-15 teams would love to sign him in free agency. This is exactly the type of player we need to do a better job of keeping around. If the opportunity arises to potentially upgrade the position with a 4th or 5th rounder? By all means, bring in some competition. But upgrading should not be confused with replacing.

He shut out Von Miller, we all saw how easy that was yesterday vs the Pats. I needs to be retained IMO as there isn’t a likely replacement in FA. And there is no need to create a hole.

Schwartz is hot garbage. He’s slow and sets up 2 feet from the QB. Some times he even sets up in the path of the QB’s drop. I wouldn’t release him but I sure get someone in there to compete with him. I think Schwartz would make a better RG. He is terrible in space.

I agree 100%. It’s the biggest issue we have – getting rid of people just to re-draft the same position. We’ve been running on ice for years – it’s time to build
