So far, no good. Both airings of Senior Bowl practices that I set to record on ESPNU have instead recorded the Dan Lebatard show. I don’t like that show. I don’t like having to fast forward through 2 hours of it in hopes that they will show some Senior Bowl footage.

The “Tard” is heavy with that show.

I can’t believe Dan Lebatard has a show. Guy was a terrible fill in on PTI….ESPN’s viewers are down something like 30% last year. Its because it is junk. Yes, every sport show is different, but it talks about the same garbage. It ignores some sports all together. I believe the only sport it ever shows anymore is nascar and NBA right? And of course MNF.

    Hue Jackson is a loser.

Last year I cut the cable cord. The only thing that really had me making faces was the thought of giving up ESPN. I watched around the horn, PTI, and Sportcenter daily, among others. It was always on somewhere in my house.

It’s been over a year now, and I honestly don’t miss it one bit. I’m able to stream it if I want, but I only find myself doing it once every few weeks, and even then when I do it’s for about 20 minutes then I lose interest.

I wish I could do that Shooter. The time is coming soon though that channels will be available online a la carte.

I never watch Lebatard because I’m not interested in him at all. He adds nothing to my life. No information, no relevant viewpoints, no entertainment. And now he’s ruined my Senior Bowl experience.

I cut the cable in 2009. It was a challenge at first because I watched the exact same shows you did. My job though made me work through those hours. So I had to question paying for it at almost 100$ a month. Best decisions I have ever made. Yes, sometimes when that big game is on, I blow a wad at the bar, but at least I am doing something than sitting on my couch watching the dummy tube. I don’t miss baseball at all. Football is easy for me to watch via billions of streamers out there. Hockey is really the only sport I miss. But to be honest, the sport and rules have changed so much that I just don’t even care as much.

Football, I can find on plenty of online streamers. But my passion for it has somewhat died too. Besides watching my local college and the Bucks, I don’t really make time for any other games. Yes, I watch the Browns every week. But I can say that by week 4, I lose interest. I used to analyze every play or learn every players abilities, ect, but to be frank, it is quite a challenge when you see the same garbage on the field year in and year out. I mean nothing has changed.

I am stunned Lebatard has a TV show. Like its not funny at all. There is nothing appealing to me about the show period. Like with Around the Horn and PTI, at least you can relate to these guys as they take opinions like your friends or are just relatively funny.

Agree totally with @dude. I used to watch each Browns game 3 times focusing on different players every time. You guys remember a few years back I used to do statistical analysis of every game with spreadsheets and graphs and stuff. It’s so painful now to watch each game just once.
