You saw a pretty big difference in our run game with Bitonio out and Erving in. Hopefully we can get that back against the Bungles.

I spent 30 minutes hitting refresh for tickets, both during yesterday’s presale and today’s public sale, only to find they’d sold out in ten minutes both days. So now it’s an issue of which night between now and next week I get drunk enough to wander into the wrong part of the internet and get mugged by stubhub.

Tito…words cannot describe the job he has done. You wouldn’t think we only have one starting pitcher who has any business taking the hill in a playoff game. I guarantee, starting next season, his bullpen usage in playoff games will be mimicked by all but the most traditional of managers.

And Merritt…wow. Just wow.

My only concern is how he’ll manage the pen without a DH.

But I’m not worried. Which is a weird feeling.

Watching the Cubs bandwagon fill up at a nauseating pace is actually fascinating. So weird, but I’m not worried in the least.

This is my main concern…they let season ticket holders buy 8 tickets and sell them, so there’s been an absurd amount of tickets moving through brokers. Standing room have been selling for $700. Standing room in Wrigley is going for $2500…the Jake is going to be packed with Cubs fans. Not kidding even a little bit.

Run on Lester. In last year’s ALCS, Kansas City had seven steals off him…we need to do the same. Tomlin needs to continue his roll, and we need either Bauer or Merritt to give us a gem. We need to go all in on manufacturing runs early, so we can get even a small lead and hand it over to Miller.

Really? Did we watch the same game? I thought he was wildly inconsistent. He had a couple way off the plate that he called strikes. In one at bat, I swear the same pitch was called a strike and then a ball.

I believe Dawg E Dawg was referring to Miller who, while I would not say wildly inconsistent, was overthrowing a bit on his slider. Understandable for a very emotional player who was pitching in his first World Series.

I’d expect he’s settled in now. The Cubs had their best shot at breaking Miller that they will in this entire series, and he still slammed the door in their face.

I’m heading down today, hoping to get some tickets on the street. I heard from a few of my regulars that standing room is going for $200 around the stadium, as opposed to $600 on Stub Hub. If nothing else, I just want to soak in the ambiance.

Gotcha. Just to play Devil’s advocate, I would hate to be an ump and try to call Kluber’s breaking ball and Miller’s slider in the same game.

I cannot physically take that kind of win again. That had to be the most stressful final four innings of baseball I’ve ever experienced.

Only Corey Kluber could get an RBI in the World Series as a starting pitcher and not break a smile. Amazing.

If they bring in Shaw, I’ll be afraid to look, but I won’t be mad. He’s had a much better year than it seems.

Prices for tickets to tomorrow night’s game just dropped by $2000.

5 would be great, but realistically we need what he can get. Tito has a “win today’s gane philosophy”, and it’s adeciding game. Every pitcher other than Kluber and Tomlin will be eligible to pitch.

I’m not worried about Shaw. This game is going to come down to our offense. We need to get to Lester early. Bauer isn’t going to keep them off the board, but hes going to fight. if we can put up 4 runs I’ll like our chances. I think this can be the game where our base running finally comes back around.

I’m all about the Bauer redemption. He’s a weirdo, everyone is on his case, and in all fairness he’s had a weak postseason. I don’t blame him for the drone thing one bit, it’s a fluke accident related to an innocent hobby. And he was a key cog for us this season…I’d love to see him have a huge role in our win.

Hah, that’s so 2015. This is 2016 Cleveland, no jinxes or superstitions because all we do is win (a memo which evidently has not yet reached the Browns)!

Not the outcome I wanted to see, that strike zone was an embarrassment yet again. Hell of a fun night, though, The Jake was packed and rocking right until the last out!

Just keep Naquin off the field. Love the kid, he’s had one hell of a rookie season, but the pressure clearly got to him and he cost us two early runs and blew a chance to bring us in close with the bases loaded.
