The idea of a D2 guy declaring early seems really weird to me but I see why he did it. He definitely has the potential you look for in a mid to late round pick. I’ll be curious to see how he works out to see how athletic he really is, but the size and length is undeniable.
I have been hearing things about this kid for a while now. From Big Walnut HS. 6’7 277 had 16 TDs this year and 10 in 2015. Looks the part and appears to run pretty well in the limited tape I’ve seen.
this is a guy who I am curious to see how he tests at the combine. His back story of being a converted basketball player turned TE isn’t an unfamiliar one.
“IF” everything checks out I wouldn’t be mad at a 3rd day flyer on this kid.

Completely agree, the kid is an intriguing prospect. I think he will shoot up boards by the end of the combine.
