ParticipantAnyone else notice the lack of news? Only interest I’ve seen is from the 49ers. Rosenhaus must be attempting to price him way too high. Being that we suck – we must be valuing him way too high as well (“we” meaning Browns fans). Interesting. Should play greatly into our favor.

Teams beginning to backout of the Terrelle Pryor sweepstakes after hearing his $10M per year asking price. Odds are, he’ll be back #BrownsLike

ParticipantLa Canfora tweeted around noon that he expects him back with the Browns at 8-9 mil per year. For what it’s worth.

ParticipantI seen something on Bleacher Report about us “reportedly” offering 8 million. His agent will play the market, but he’ll likely resign with us when it’s all said and done.
Which means you can blame me when he doesn’t.

ParticipantIf the final price is 8-10 mil per year, then this has got to be an open and shut case. Ink him to a contract.
Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

Even if he demands 11?
Look, I’m with all of you I think it’s beyond us all to sign TP. Hands down, it’s a no-brainer.
But playing devils advocate here, at what price do you, as an organization, say “No”, and stand pat with it?
There has to be a point.
Not Tagging him says “no, you’re not gonna be the highest payed receiver in the NFL, buuuuuuuuuut, we’ll pony up, what’s your price?”
Look, the Browns can and will pay this guy a ton of money. That’s just fact. But I’m also on record as saying many, many times, that Terrell Pryor is a total fucking asshole. If any of you, in any way, think he has any loyalty at all, you need to immediately force-close and uninstall that App from your heads because this dude gives zero fucks about anyone else but himself. He always has, and he always will.
This is his last shot to cash in and collect all that he possibly can. He doesn’t want money, he’s 27 and just went through a position change, he wants GURANTEED money. He wants AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL the money he can possibly get, cause he’s never, ever, EVER, gonna have a shot at it again. This is his last and only grasp he’ll ever have again to never have to work in his life. If you think he has any loyalty to the Browns for getting that shot to him, lmao, you’re sorely mistaken and don’t know anything about Terrell Pryor.
If the Browns offer him 8 and the Rams offer him 9, he’s going to the Rams.
End of story.

ModeratorHe’s not as good as he wants to be paid for, and the Browns know that, and it’s pissing him off.
Someone has to step up and say “too bad nigga, walk”.

ParticipantWith the Britt signing you can say goodbye to Pryor. Rosenhaus screwed Pryor playing hard ball. We moved on, that’s clear.

That’s what really pisses me off. If we got him and Pryor, I’d be ok with it. But I don’t see those 2 players as equal on any way shape or form.

ParticipantRumor is we are front runners to keep Pryor. No one’s offer is better and we haven’t pulled it. Also supposedly the front runner for G Kevin Zeitler. If wepull all this off – we just got a whole lot better and shored up our OL.

ParticipantRumors I’ve heard are we offered him $8 mil a year and Rosenhaus wanted $15 mil. His highest offer outside of us was $5.5 mil a year.
Again, all 100% unconfirmed rumored. I personally think there’s legs to it in the sense he hasn’t signed anywhere and the Redskins seem to be the only other team he visited. Pryor is dumb as a box of rocks for having Rosenhaus as his agent and letting him play those games.

ModeratorDepends on how you want to look at it. He spent two years reinventing himself. He’s 27. This is most likely his last shot at a major payday. I can’t say that I blame him for trying to get all that he can.
I do think that they greatly overestimated his worth. This is now the 2nd offseason the Browns were dead on accurate with estimating a players value. Last year they yanked their offer off the table. I don’t think that will be the case with Pryor though. Once he comes to the realization that the browns are giving him the best offer, he’s gonna take it. At this point in his career, he’s in it more for the money right now than he is winning.
I’d love to see the trio of Britt Coleman and Pryor next season.

ParticipantI agree he needs to get the most he can, but Rosenhaus set it so high he’s not even getting visits. That’s a massive red flag. Rosenhaus experimented and screwed Pryor.
