ParticipantWe certainly are the first. Personally, I think it was genius. Some are saying the Browns overpaid, but in reality that’s impossible to say, because they bought something that wasn’t for sale, the final price isn’t known, and the exact commodity isn’t known.
That said, buying something that can’t be bought is pretty awesome.

That said, buying something that can’t be bought is pretty awesome.“Overpaid” makes me laugh. Those people are stupid who say that. It’s a one year cap hit that doesn’t effect the team in the least.

Remember when we thought Savage was brilliant for trading up to the dreaded 22nd pick for Brady Quinn?
I gotta say, these moves make us seem pretty fucking competent. I hope the draft plays out in a similar way.
