It’s a good thing you were born in this era DS…talk like that in the 1400s would have gotten you burned at the stake.

But I concur, the shit that the nerds are doing are extremely impressive thus far. That Osweiler trade was something never before seen in this league, and like you mentioned, this isn’t the end.

Yeah, we still have a ton of work to do, but (hopefully) fixing all the leaks on the O-line in one day is…unheard of. At the very least, they’ve made the offseason exciting.

I think their quantitative analysis came up with a few amazing (common sense) conclusions:

    1) It is necessary to build through the draft, but even the best scouts miss as often as they hit. The best way to draft better is to increase the amount of picks you have. Now we are flush with picks.

    2) Don’t throw bad money after good. Cut the question marks immediately, don’t resign them.

    3) Identify the building blocks of your team that are young and DO throw money at them.

Calculator Club for the win, motherfuckers (and by “motherfuckers” I mean Shooter)!

The Calculator Club was gonna go 1 of 2 ways: It was either going to be good, or a spectacular failure.

Judging by the way yesterday went, the arrow seems to be firmly pointed towards the former. The Osweiler move was a savvy one. You basically had a baseball guy making a basketball move in a football league. If these guys can carry this momentum over into the next few days, and ultimately in the draft, I firmly believe that the Browns will have themselves quite a turnaround in 2017.

For the 1st time in quite a while, there is reason for both optimism and excitement in Berea.

    Where’s my pocket protector?
