Yep, that attitude sure did a ton in St Louis with 3 1st round picks on the DL with pathetic sack totals. Talk is cheap. Prove it in the field. He hasn’t done a damn thing since Washington a decade ago.

Except winning a Superbowl by holding a Peyton Manning-led offense to 17 points. If you’re into that sort of thing.

The players seem to be quite fired up by him. I know you hate it and disagree, but excited, motivated defensive players is a good thing and often leads to desirable results.

Yes, a one year anamoly. Then Derek Anderson should be our QB.

Bottom line is talk is meaningless. Don’t care. Prove it on the field. He produces a top 10 D I’ll be impressed

Like he did last year in L.A. with the 9th ranked defense in the league? Would that count as impressive?

I don’t care about yardage. 23rd in PPG allowing over 24. Why don’t I care about yards? They were run on 424 times. 12th in the NFL. It shortens games. It’s the Mike Pettine pre-Cleve D. 24th in sacks. They had the 12th most pass attempts against them. Can’t get to the QB.

L.A.’s offense looked like 2 guys fucking a watermelon. The defense was on the field the entire game. Every game. All season.

Considering the circumstances they were faced with, I’d consider it a helluva job.

With 3 first round picks on the DL and that many pass attempts that’s a terrible number of sacks. Just putrid. I’d say it was a shitty job. Again, I hope to hell I’m wrong, but I’m feeling like we got another talking head.
