Either way, I’d like them to pick NOT Trubiski. I don’t think there’s a QB in this draft worthy of a pick that high. If you take the emotion out of the equation (the desperation to draft a QB), I wouldn’t even take one in the first round. None of them is a guaranteed stud and they all have plenty of questions around them.
Hooker, if he’s there. Not an OSU thing, a need thing. My other hope would be Howard.
We have the opportunity to get two impact players. We need guys who we KNOW can play football, not question marks. Even if they fail eventually, there will be no questions that we took the BPA, and filled a position of need. Let the draft come to us.
I would have Usain Bolt run the Trubisky card up there. If he’s gone, depends who’s left. Hooker, Mike Williams, Mahomes.
I wouldn’t be opposed to Corey Davis except he’s a Bronco and I’m a Toledo Rockets guy. So, there’s that.
OJ Howard. I think he’s a generational talent in the same sense as Garret, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team move up to 8 or so and take him.
If they take Trubisky…like Ice, I’m not a fan of this year’s QB class…but I’ll defer to our guys if they’ve done their research.
I wouldn’t go near Trubitsky with a 10 foot pole. Assuming medical checks out I’d go Hooker.
