I do have gameballs to give out.
Andrew Hawkins was solid. So was Gabriel.
Spencer Lanning also gets a gameball for making the best of a really terrible situation with that lousy snap. He also pinned the Texans deep in their own territory very often.
Those guys deserve positive mention IMO.I’m going to toss a gameball to Miles Austin. He knew there would be some tough decisions to make regarding playing time once Gordon is back, and like a true veteran leader he tried to make life as easy as possible for the coaches.
My goats:
The ones you mentioned PLUS
Agnew – Whiffing on blocks, dropping easy passes, and likely getting cut this week.
McDonald – Old McDonald had a farm, EIEIO. And on that farm he was completely overwhelmed and spent more time on his back than a dead cockroach.
Schwartz – Let’s be honest, he didn’t really have a chance against JJ Watt.
Mingo – For making plays on special teams, reminding me that we spent a top 10 pick on a decent special teams player.
