It’s a really bad look but I’m not gonna lump him in with Manziel yet. Manziel used crazy drugs and missed meetings then lied to everyone. Kizer didn’t miss anything. Apparently his performance during Saturday’s run through was good enough that the coaches didn’t even know he was out until the media told them.
At this point I’m still WAY more concerned about what Kizer is doing on the field than what he’s doing off it.
Definitely rough year so far… Manzo El cared more about what is up his nose.
Soup has no clue what his practice habits are. All qbs look bad…. We have a terrible receiver core. They are really bad. Most these guys would be on practice squads.
Hopefully we can draft 2 guys next year who are top of the food chain and can get things going.
I think year 2 for Kizer will be better if we can get someone to catch the ball.

The Browns had practice Saturday in preparation for Sunday’s game
No they didn’t. Teams don’t practice on Saturdays. Ever. They have walk-throughs and film, that’s it.
Doesn’t look good, but he was there on time and participated in walk-throughs and meetings.
Manziel, if he showed up at all, was either ravenously hung-over or still hammered.

As an FYI that’s a quote from the paper. And no, at no time is this acceptable from the worst QB in the NFL that thinks he can be a starter in this league.
According to total QBR he has cost the Browns 28.7 points so far this year. Yep, you read that right. -28.7 pts added due to his play. Next worst? -17.7. An 11.1 point difference.
On a scale of 0-100 his total QBR is 17.4 Jamis Winston is the average mark – meaning 16th in the NFL at 52.4.
Normal QB rating that you are used to seeing – 47.8 on the year. The 2nd worst is 70.
That is how terrible he is as a player. To say “go fishing” when he’s the worst QB, by far, in the NFL and the worst the Browns have ever had is absurd (before youmention the suck that was Manziel – his career rating was 74.4 and his QBR year 2 was 54.4 – year one it was 7 – but he threw only 35 total passes). You should be lambasting him worse than me for his actions.
His numbers are evidence that his actions are highly detrimental to him and the team.

I was telling you to go fish for labeling him Manziel 2.0.
When I see him doing blow in a Mens room or floating shitwrecked on giant swans, or missing team meetings or showing up to practice hammered or throwing his girlfriend out of the car on the freeway cause he was drunk and beating her, then maybe I’ll veer toward giving him a Manziel 2.0 tag.
Being out at 130am on a Friday night and participating in walk throughs the next afternoon the day before a game is not worthy of such a distinction.
Soup is so clueless…. Still waiting… Who else was out with him? Was he knock out drunk or being a 21 year old sports star.
I have personally met him on a couple of occasions at fund raiser events and he is nothing but a well spoken man.

Kizer has apologized which really means nothing to me. If he never has an issue like this again then I’ll say he learned from his mistake. Otherwise he will become a distraction.
I just don’t get why so many people think it is a mistake…

Most the guys on our team are probably sitting at home smoking weed on Friday nights. If you dont realize this, you have another thing coming.
