Brown, Britt and Hue as playcaller.

Brown – proven repeatedly he doesn’t know football talent also proven to not listen to his coaching staff.

Britt – he’s a waste of a spot. Smarter to bring a young guy up and attempt to develop them.

Hue as playcaller. He needs to concentrate on being head coach of the whole team. They are way too young for that and for a year and a half we are terrible at scoring points so he’s failing miserably.

I voted Legatron AKA Shmegmatron and Kenny Britt. I want them off the roster and away from us.

I didn’t vote Sashi because I think there should be a role for him. He’s definitely good at maneuvering draft trades and acquiring picks. I just think he trusts his own assessment of players more than the coaches assessment for some reason.

I didn’t vote Hue even as playcaller because I don’t think playcalling is the issue. I think shitty players is the issue. It’s very hard to judge any coach when his players are this bad.

If Sashi had zero roster say (aka his votes counted as negatives) I’d be in board with him staying.

Kenny Britt is a Trojan horse sent by the NFL.

He’s actually living proof analytics doesn’t work in the NFL. A few of us thought it was a stupid signing.

Last year his numbers across the board were near identical to Pryor’s. Analytics says we lost nothing player to player. Analytics = failure.

That’s a very very simple look at analytics. Age is a statistic. Average Yards/season is a statistic. Yards/catch is a statistic.

There are a lot of statistics that point to it being better to sign Pryor to Britt. Can’t blame analytics, just their use of it.

I think that analytics has become an uncontrollable monster and has ushered in an era of paralysis by analysis. There’s just too much information, overthinking, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th and 6th-guessing, and overall has confused and degraded the talent evaluation process. It’s done far more harm than good, in all sports. At some point you need to open the blinds, put the tablets, laptops, algorithms, and spreadsheets down and actually go outside and watch a football game. Can a guy play ball, yes or fucking no? It’s called the eye test, he can either play or he can’t. He can lead or he can’t. He’s fast or he’s not. He’s big or he isn’t. He’s strong or he’s not. He can run or catch or tackle or cover or or he can’t. You don’t need hard drives full of data, in-depth equations, probability percentages, mathematical forecasting or whatever else kind of garbled, theoretical science jargon they come up with.

Tell Sashi thank you, tell Depodesta thank you, admit that the experiment was given a solid run but that it failed miserably, and wipe the front office clean. Get football people back in the building instead of quantum physicists, and understand that we’re trying to assemble a 53-man squad of men that can play football, not prove the existence of dark matter in a Hydron Collider.

After this McCarron fiasco, Jimmy and Dee should grab the bullhorn, hop in the elevator, hit the ‘2’ button, and as soon as the door opens put the bullhorn up to his mouth and pull a Chris Tucker…
