Fan. Fucking. Tastic.
They haven’t announced how many additional players are on COVID reserve due to being in close contact with the two who tested positive.
One of the players was a close contact previously and was already in isolation, so they shouldn’t have any additional close contacts. I saw a tweet where the receivers are expected back, so my guess is…Harrison Bryant? Or the LB that missed besides goodson. I don’t remember if it was Takitaki or a backup.
So, Harrison Bryant and Malcolm Smith are the 2 that tested positive. Bryant was in isolation, so should be no close contacts. No word on smith yet. Any close contacts identified today or after are automatically out for Sunday. As of now, the players we know we won’t have on Sunday are:
Andrew Sendejo
Harrison Bryant
Malcom SmithEverybody else that missed for covid reasons should be back. Also, the Steelers announced they’re going to sit:

Cam HeywardWatt and Heyward are huge. Should allow our backs and Baker to do their thing. And if anybody says they don’t want the playoffs cheapened by an easy win, I would point you to Jim Sorgi in 2007, and ask you to punch yourself in the face.
