IceKeymasterI think plan A is for Coleman to take the LT spot. It’s his preferred position. He’s no Joe Thomas but with Bitonio next to him let’s hope he can at least be average. Keep an eye on Desmond Harrison. Apparently he has more natural talent than Joe Thomas, but needs a TON of coaching.
IF Gordon isn’t available it will be a significant blow to our offense. It’s pretty much too late for Corey Coleman to be called anything but a bust at this point. I think he’ll lose his WR3 spot to Calloway sooner rather than later. I’d rather see him play than sign a 1 year malcontent. We’ve seen that movie too many times already.
DS I think the main place we’ll focus our 1st rounder is DT. I’ve heard this next draft will be full of good interior linemen and we could really use one.

DawgSoldierParticipantI Could see DT…but if it as deep as you say it would make more sence to get one in the second round and spend a 1st rounder on one of the cornerstone positions. IE #1 WR or LT.
I’ve heard the samething about Harrison. He got by on that athletism/stregth at a lower level of college. But his technique and footwork supposedly horrible.

ParticipantJoe Thomas doesn’t think Coleman is an LT but would be better suited at guard. I’ve heard Vitoria could be moved to LT and Coleman as the LG. It is also why the signed former first round LT Robinson. Either to start at LT or be a backup. Time will tell and that’s all part of training camp.
