soupParticipantUpon looking at the subject line I wrote – as an FYI I mean “a positive” and NOT A+.

IceKeymasterMedia was quick to say that he was held back by terrible blocking and some drops. He completed half of his passes. The blocking was indeed terrible and they’re facing Tampa Bay’s 2nd string, not the ’85 Bears. His passes looked fairly erratic. I didn’t see any completions longer than 15 yards in the air. That interception in the end zone was terrible.
Let’s hope that he continues to not make us regret passing on him.

soupParticipantGoff didn’t look all world either. Though he did contend with 3 drops in his 9 throws.
Oh, and the extremely brittle Wentz is injured again. Hairline rib fracture.
Props to this staff for passing on hype.

soupParticipantHere’s all of Goff’s throws (finally found it)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHUcQc0gEVI
You’ll see a drop. Him hold the ball WAY TOO LONG and get clobbered which causes the int. You’ll see another bad WR player drop a ball. You’ll see a deep overthrow. You’ll see a perfect throw — and a 3rd drop down the seam.
Overall his accuracy is very good – STL still has the worst WR in the NFL as evidenced by those 3 drops.
His biggest issue seems to be holding the ball way too long. Overall – doesn’t look like a #1 pick – though clearly light years ahead of Wentz.
Plus #2 that we didn’t trade up to the #1 spot to take him. So far the non-picks are showing that we potentially have an FO that may actually have a clue!
