I read that last night, it was excellent. It made me go through and read some of his other articles. The one on Gilbert was particularly shocking. According to Jones, the gameday where Gilbert went MIA and had to be found by Browns security, when he finally showed up 2 hours late he was eating a candy bar and giggling. One veteran had to be physically restrained from him. It’s unfortunate that the one restraining the vet wasn’t Cam Erving, because then Gilbert would have gotten the beating he deserved. Apparently Gilbert has no interest whatsoever in football and in 2 years has not bothered to learn the defensive schemes. Reading that was like a kick to the groin and I’m glad that the vets on our team are not complacent about him.
TLDR Gilbert is an ass.
