Saquon deserves it. His amazing running ability led his team from just 3 wins the season before without him to a whopping 5 wins with him. The giants rushed for an amazing 103 yards per game, good enough for 24th in the league. That’s an increase of almost 7 yards per game from the year before! Clearly his leadership has completely turned the Giants franchise around.
Meanwhile Baker Mayfield only threw for over 3700 yards and set an all-time NFL rookie record for TD’s with 27, compared to only 14 INT’s. He led 3 4th quarter comebacks and helmed 4 game winning drives. He only had a 93 QB rating for the entire season. Also his team went from ZERO wins to 7 wins under Mayfield. And the Browns who have been bottom feeders for 2 decades are likely to be the consensus choice of teams to win the AFC North.
So yeah, choosing that RB as rookie of the year makes total sense.
End sarcastic rant.

On a completely separate note, the NFL has the credibility of the WWE. The officiating and honors are a joke. Congratulations to Tom Brady for winning the Super Bowl after a blatant, critically timed, back breaking no call ensures New England wins the game.
At least “Sixburgh” can shut up for awhile.

He currently holds the record for pre-draft hype.
February 4, 2019 at 9:53 am #15340ShooterModeratorI’m glad.
More reason for him to be pissed off and have a burning desire to take it out on everyone he plays.
February 4, 2019 at 10:58 am #15341soupParticipantTo make it worse, from 2015-2017 the Browns win 4 games total. Baker in one season win the Browns more games than the previous 3 combined while breaking the rookie record. Barkley got it because he plays in NY.
Freedom!!!
