ParticipantThat’s really steep. He better stay healthy. And we better win the division. Excuses are over

ParticipantWow oh Wow, Dorsey is going all in for the prize, this team now has so much fire power that Hue would have a tough time screwing it up.

ParticipantThat’s not steep. We robbed them. You’d have given that up to move up enough to grab DK Metcalf. We walked away with OBJ. Injuries happen. Part of the game. This is an absolute coup. We are the division favorites, built in the image of the Chiefs offense with an even better defense. We. Are. Relevant.

ParticipantPeppers isn’t even a factor in the trade. He’s average at best. We can replace him with Derrick Kindred, or any number of the available FA safeties that would be at least as good as him. Seriously, the safety market right now is crazy, and there will be some really good safeties to be had at a discount.
A mid-first and a late third for OBJ? That’s highway robbery. Think about it, where would Beckham go in this draft? Top 5? Top 3? You can’t trade that high up with a first and a third.

ParticipantTwitter is insane right now. Rumor is Dorsey is already working on Peppers replacement. That’s all over the place. The 2 names being thrown around are Earl Thomas and Eric Berry. Personally, I think they’re just crazy rumors from wishful fans, but who knows.

KeymasterKindred is on our roster and is pretty damn good. Still that puts safety in play for the draft.
It is a steep price for sure. Essentially two 1’s and a 3.
It’s also a steal… we got the best WR in football and the Giants are still the ones paying his salary! We have plenty of money to go get another safety if we want.

ParticipantThe Giants’ loss of safety Landon Collins to Washington made Jabril Peppers a must have in their eyes. He’s not just a throw-in, he was a major part of getting the deal done.

ParticipantWow what a deal or WR room just got better even though it now appears Perriman is backing out of his deal for 1 year and 4 mil who cares, look at our skill positions now as of Wensday at 4 pm QB Baker Mayfield, RB Chubb, Johnson, Hunt WR OBJ, JUice laundry, Higgins, calloway, TE Njoku, DeValve now this should get you 28+ points a game avg. then add in our improved defense and this will be a fun time for Browns fans.
