Browns beat Ravens, are now 1-0 in AFC North
We’re used to games like this, where the Browns are in it until the very last second. That’s when we usually find an extremely creative way to lose. NOT TODAY! The once-feared Ravens defense was absolutely shredded by the Browns offense. Josh McCown had the best day he’s ever had as a pro and set the Browns team record for passing yards in a game with 422 passing yards. He had 2 passing TD’s, one running TD, and didn’t have a single turnover. TE Gary Barnidge had a standout day for himself at well with 8 receptions for 139 yards and one fantastic TD catch that he somehow managed to catch with his feet.
Defense wasn’t such a pretty picture, allowing another 30 points this week. If our defense started playing as well as our offense this Browns team would be very hard to beat. Enough of that though, lets focus on the positive.
The Browns are now 1-0 in their division and even though we’ve only won 2 games we could quickly find ourselves tied for 2nd place in the division depending on what happens to the Steelers tonight.

Last time we won in ratville was 2007 in OT and the score was 33-30.
McCown finished with 457 yards passing which includes his OverTime numbers. I think the number you mentioned was just regulation.
Great win, sad to say that in browns history no qb has ever thrown for 300 yds in three consecutive games or that our highly drafted qb can’t beat out a 36 yr old journeyman whom now holds the record for most yds thrown in a game as a browns quarterback.
What is sad is when a Browns QB throws for 457 yards in a victory and a Browns fan complains.
