A.Billings will start at 1 tech and M.Jackson will start at the 3 tech DT spot and be backed by J.Elliot. The Browns just need to find a back up NT on day 3 and they are good to go.
Also CLowney has played some 3 technique as well.

IMO it’s a money ball move to roll over the 20 mill they have in cap space in 2021 for a BUNCH of key exstensions coming due in 2022. Mayfield, Ward, Chubb, and Teller

I always thought the Browns would draft a DT. One thing to look for is that Clowney can also be moved inside at times and I would fully expect that to happen.
This sounds like a bean counter move. As much as I hate how this looks, I do think that there are other alternatives out there. Had Richardson been scheduled to make 7 mil instead of 13 mil, I hardly think we’d be having this conversation.

I hope you’re all right! I just feel like we upgraded DE and downgraded DT, and I hope that’s not a wash.
Clearly the status quo wasn’t working on defense last year, so a shake up was needed. Berry has definitely earned some faith.
