KeymasterThis is a head scratcher. I was actually pretty impressed by his work in the preseason. I guess that means Manziel is better.

ParticipantI don’t know, I liked Thad his last time around, and he was certainly under pressure way too much in that final game…but he doesn’t seem to have the arm strength needed for the NFL, and regularly over/underthrew all his passes over 10 yards. Against a starting NFL defense, those are going the other way. Also, while our third string line resembled a set of saloon doors, he reminded me of Charlie Frye in that he’d scramble around like a scared chicken with no pocket awareness, and run right into a blitzer.
If (when) Manziel and McCown get hurt, I wouldn’t mind seeing him back, but I don’t think he’s worth a roster spot.

ParticipantI think it secures Pryor’s spot on the roster. Especially with Lenz cut as well.
UPDATE: Grossi is reporting that Devlin is cut as well.

KeymasterSo the Browns are going into the season with only 2 QB’s on the roster, and one of them is injured.
This may be the first year in recent memory that we don’t start 3 different QB’s.

ParticipantConsidering our past, perhaps its not a bad thing to change up things.

KeymasterIf the first 2 get injured, just quit putting QB’s on the field. It makes sense.

Well, putting them in hasn’t ever worked out. Let’s write this one up as an experiment.
Hue Jackson is a loser.
