soupParticipantThis is common. When they get a new coach – that coach is TYPICALLY given the chance to keep his own staff. But if the new coach likes those guys – then he’ll be able to keep them (assuming they haven’t interviewed elsewhere to take a job)

the dudeParticipantIt isn’t up to the coach those Ice. The two yahoos are making their own agenda – they will place all the positions and their roles. If you do not meet their expectations in which they will be the direct reports, then you will be relieved of your duty.
