He was a 2014 1st round pick. Jets drafted two safeties in this draft and Pryor was largely a bust. They tried to trade him before and during the draft. I imagine we didn’t give up much to get him, at least I hope not.

    Demario Davis, straight-up.

Not bad at all, if they can get him to produce similar to Taylor like last season.

Davis is a 3-4 ILB and the Browns are moving to a 4-3. Christian Kirksey to an extension. I guess the office wanted to make sure that Kirksey was the starter at the Mike position.

Am I going mad, or did the word THINK escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic landmass!

Talk from Jets fans is that Pryor is a really good in box defender, and a strong, hard-hitting tackler. Plays well at SS, gets lost often and is overmatched at FS.

    For what that’s worth.

So we still have no free safety. Not complaining about the trade as we got rid of a non fit for a need. But we are still going to see a ton of deep completions

But we are still going to see a ton of deep completions

Not if we get to the QB before he can throw it.

His last 5 seasonas DC ranking in sacks. We are going to give up a lot of deep balls. (just like your mom – ZING!)

I need to seriously explore making a “Soup Says” thread, or maybe even a separate forum altogether, where I can keep track of all of your wild, outrageous, and overall insane prognostications so that as the season unfolds, you can see in a cascading point by point breakdown how wrong you literally always are.

Maybe at the end of the year I’ll throw together an awesome PowerPoint or something. With charts, graphs, maybe some fancy moving pictures too!

1st on the list is your take that Corey Coleman is a “weak bodied” glorified and overrated slot receiver that was a waste of a 1st round pick. I don’t know any other way to disagree with that other than to just state the obvious and say “that’s dumb”. Because it is. You’re wrong.

Second will be the sacks. How do you wanna go about this? Should we talk about an overall number, or are you enamored with the rankings? If it’s rankings, based on the last 5 years you just listed, Greg Williams has an average rank of 17th in the league for sacks. I guarantee you the Browns finish better than 17th. And to be honest, anything above 16th is respectable because that would put the Browns in the top half of the league in the category, and that’s something we haven’t done I don’t know how long. You are wrong, you will continue to be wrong, and you will remain wrong throughout the season. I’d offer to make a bet with you, but, you know how it’s going to end up for you so, I won’t even bother.

These two things are going up as inaugural posts on the “Soup Says” display case.

Non-fit?? NON-FIT!!??? That can’t possibly be. I was told all the player son this roster come from a 4-3. Switching to a 4-3 will be seamless. We were set up to run a 4-3, and moving to that puts everybody back in their natural positions. He must have played a 4-3 in college, how could he possibly be a non-fit??????!
